2007 Freelance Surgical Ltd obtained the Securos agency for the UK and Ireland. Securos are an American company who design and manufacture high quality veterinary orthopaedic implants and instruments.
2006 Freelance Surgical Ltd moved into a new warehouse in Wrington 5 mins west of Bristol Airport.
2005 New Agency obtained form German manufacturer high quality low cost camera systems and endoscopy equipment. Introduction of our free endoscopy clinic. An appraisal of your endoscopy equipment with suggested areas of growth while incorporating existing items.
2004 Re-launched website with full in house control. Faster updates and new stock input, easier request information and search facilities.
2001 September Launch date of our new website.
2001 Started separate Veterinary division including both pre-owned and new items for Veterinary customers.
2000 Moved to our new 9000sq ft premises incorporating human and veterinary operating theatre showrooms and biomed maintenance facility.

1999 We obtained the sole UK agency for the Advantage USA range of SpO2 and ECG cables.
1995 We obtained UK agency for Olympic 'Vacpac' range of patient positioners.
1995 We started selling pre-owned equipment to UK hospitals and quickly our customer base grew to incorporate overseas Doctors, Hospitals, Agents and UK and overseas Veterinary Practices, Hospitals and Universities.
1991 We obtained the sole UK agency for VBM Germany's range of anaesthesia and Tourniquet products.
1987 - 1990
1987 Freelance Surgical Ltd was formed by Robert Towler primarily to sell new UK manufactured equipment to UK hospitals.
